The short answer

Rubrik announced Agent Rewind on 12 August 2025 to rewind what an agent changed, using Rubrik Security Cloud, with an audit trail and immutable snapshots. Its release is written in the future tense.¹
It covers files, databases, configurations and repositories, and maps each action back from prompts to plans to tools.¹
Deedglass covers less ground on purpose: Postgres writes, decided by rules, checked against what was committed, and undone row by row.

When to choose Rubrik Agent Rewind

You already run Rubrik Security Cloud and want agent rollback in the same place.¹
Your agents change files, configurations and repositories as well as databases.¹
Your agents run on Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot Studio or Amazon Bedrock Agents, which Rubrik says it will integrate with.¹

When Deedglass fits

You are a small team whose agent writes to Postgres, and you want rules before the write and a check after it.
You want each action sealed into a record someone else can check offline.
You want to start free on your own machine.
